As we previously reported, one of our Rebel spies has come across some interesting silver-and-black packaging with the logos of both Star Wars and Transformers on it.
While it's still very early in the development stages, and a lot depends on if retailers are willing to pick it up, here's a list of 12 toys in the works:
Luke Skywalker / X-Wing Fighter
Darth Vader / TIE Fighter
General Grievous / Wheel Bike
Obi-Wan Kenobi / Jedi Starfighter
Boba Fett / Slave 1
Darth Maul / Sith Infiltrator
Anakin Skywalker / Jedi Starfighter
Snowtrooper / AT-ST
Clone Trooper / ARC-170 Fighter
Emperor Palpatine / Star Destroyer
Jango Fett / Slave 1
If all goes as planned, these should begin appearing early in 2006.
In related news, we also hear that Transformers will be joining Star Wars in another popular line...more on that tomorrow.

Of course... if it was a 3 3/4" fig that came with a transforming vehicle I'd say okay...
I don't really see how this is bad.
It doesn't take away from the movies, nor does it take away from the existing product.
So, if you don't like the idea, how is it any skin off your back? Just walk by them when you're in the store.

Wow, everytime I turn around I read another horses ass idea out of the SW camp.. I'm still
just amazed at the shear stupidity of taking a fabulous line like 'Unleashed' and turning it into a 2" line (Like they don't have small enough figures with 'Attacktix) I guess I'm going to be saving some serious coin when it comes to SW product. I just hope they don't decide to change

Yeah, but then there's good news like Sideshow getting the 12" liscence.
